CSC calls for inventory of employee qualifications

The Civil Service Commission has issued a directive to government agencies, requesting them to compile an inventory containing the names and details of all employees within the ministry who possess academic qualifications beyond high school, including those who obtained their qualifications from January 1, 2000, to the present. This inventory should encompass both Kuwaiti and non-Kuwaiti employees.

This directive follows the submission of the final report by the committee tasked with studying and evaluating the Ministry of Higher Education and the Civil Service Bureau’s procedures regarding the equivalency of academic certificates beyond high school, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Government agencies, including the Ministry of Education, have already initiated the process of recording essential data, such as employees’ names, civil numbers, workplaces, specializations, universities, and the countries where the qualifications were obtained, using available screens in integrated systems.

Furthermore, authorities have instructed their respective sectors to notify all employees who hold qualifications above high school, obtained from January 1, 2000, onward, to submit scanned copies of their academic certificates and the corresponding equivalency certificates issued by higher education authorities.
