The Central Agency for Illegal Residents urged ministries to instruct their affiliated entities “not to process any transactions for individuals whose Kuwaiti citizenship has been revoked, except based on the new card.”
The Central Agency for Illegal Residents has once again supplied government agencies with lists containing the names and data of individuals who have lost or had their citizenship revoked. It emphasized the importance of taking necessary measures concerning these individuals and their children, according to reports in the Al Rai newspaper.
The agency warned ministries and government agencies not to recognize any documents issued by these individuals in their previous capacity and to consider them void, in accordance with the decisions of the Council of Ministers regarding the loss or withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship.
The agency also urged ministries to instruct their affiliated entities “not to process any transactions for individuals whose Kuwaiti citizenship has been revoked, except based on the new card” that the Central Agency decided to issue for this category. This card reflects the accurate legal status of each individual case.
