Kuwait Fire Force sparks safety seminars across government agencies

The Kuwait Fire Force conducted seminars at the Ministry of Works, the Ministry of Health, and the Public Institution for Housing Welfare as part of the ‘Prevention and Protection’ campaign, the Al Rai newspaper reported.
During the seminars, they presented the main causes of widespread fires and methods to reduce and contain their spread. They also emphasized the importance of acquiring safety equipment for fire prevention and discussed drowning prevention techniques.
A real-life video was shown to raise awareness about fires caused by children playing or electrical short circuits, which can lead to fire outbreaks.

Handling fire accidents
Ahmed Al-Shatti, the Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the Public Institution for Housing Care, stated that the institution is committed to educating employees on the importance of handling fire accidents cautiously and other safety measures, both within and outside the workplace.
Jumana Al-Shatti, Head of the Corporate Communications Department, emphasized that cooperation with the fire department aims to promote a safety culture in the workplace, ensuring employee well-being, and educating them on fire prevention methods and the proper use of fire extinguishers.
In another context, Al-Shatti emphasized the foundation’s commitment to implementing community initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable development and creating programs that have a tangible impact on society.
She mentioned that a team from the Public Relations Department of the Foundation visited the National Bank of Kuwait Children’s Hospital and the Cell Therapy Unit to support volunteer efforts, offer psychological and moral support to patients, and present them with gifts.
