Al-Daihani commends historic ties with Argentina since 1966

The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs of the State of Kuwait mentioned at the Argentine Embassy’s Independence Day celebration that there are numerous bilateral agreements and ongoing investment activities between the two countries.

  • “Your cooperation and acceptance have facilitated meaningful dialogue and strengthened our bilateral ties, making my diplomatic mission not only possible but also highly rewarding,” said H.E. Claudia Alejandra Zampieri, the Ambassador of Argentina to Kuwait.

  • “As my term as Ambassador of Argentina to Kuwait ends after more than five unforgettable years, I am overwhelmed by a deep sense of gratitude that words alone cannot fully convey,” the Argentinian ambassador said.

Aziz Al-Daihani, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs of the State of Kuwait, expressed pride in the longstanding relations with Argentina dating back to 1966.

Al-Daihani added, in a statement to reporters on the sidelines of the celebration held by the Argentine Embassy on Independence Day, that there are numerous bilateral agreements and ongoing investment activities between the two countries, including involvement by the Kuwaiti Fund.

She continued, “The Kuwaiti people do not forget the support of our friends during the occupation.”

In turn, H.E. Claudia Alejandra Zampieri, the Ambassador of Argentina to Kuwait, praised the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. She expressed gratitude to the leadership, government, and people of Kuwait for their support, hospitality, and cooperation throughout her tenure.

“Your cooperation and acceptance have facilitated meaningful dialogue and strengthened our bilateral ties, making my diplomatic mission not only possible but also highly rewarding,” she said.

She added, “Through hard work, professionalism, and unity, we have achieved our common goals. The commitment to excellence, creativity, and teamwork from both sides has been crucial to our success.” “I am truly proud of everything we have accomplished together.”

She continued, “As my term as Ambassador of Argentina to Kuwait ends after more than five unforgettable years, I am overwhelmed by a deep sense of gratitude that words alone cannot fully convey. I express my deep appreciation to each and every one for their unwavering support throughout this amazing journey.”

The Argentinian ambassador added, “As I bid farewell to this chapter of my life, I leave with a heart full of gratitude and a bag full of memories. I deeply appreciate the honor of serving as an ambassador to Kuwait and to my fellow citizens now.”

Regarding the occasion, she said, “We gather today to celebrate Argentina’s Independence Day. Two hundred and eight years ago, on July 9, 1816, a group of visionary leaders gathered in Tucumán to declare Argentina’s independence from Spanish colonial rule. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a new chapter in our nation’s history, characterized by self-determination, freedom, and the pursuit of a brighter future for all.”
