Bitcoin dips below $60,000 for first time since October 2024

The price of Bitcoin fell below $60,000 on Friday for the first time since October 2024, affected by declining demand for digital currencies and reduced risk in the markets.

The cryptocurrency fell by about 6 percent to $59,770.90, before slightly reducing its losses.

Compared to its record high in the fall of last year, its price has fallen by half, according to news reports.
