BBF Kuwait hosts health and wellbeing evening at British Embassy
The British Business Forum Kuwait (BBF) hosted its June monthly networking event at the UK embassy premises, bringing together members of the business community and guests for an evening dedicated to Health and Wellbeing.
Dr Sameh Aziz, Medical Director of Alghanim Industries and Honorary Medical Counsel of BBF, delivered an informative and thought-provoking presentation followed by a Q&A session on “Risk Factors for Heart Disease”, raising awareness on a condition that affects millions worldwide and highlighting the importance of prevention, early detection and healthy lifestyle choices.
The event also featured a short presentation by Jazeera Airways on both their forthcoming 2026 Summer programme and highlighting the soon to be launched new route to London Luton Airport. Jazeera Airways also donated a pair of tickets on the inaugural flight from Kuwait to London Luton Airport on 8 July 2026.
Patrick Jones, Chairman of BBF, thanked His Excellency the British Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, H.E. Qudsi Rasheed and the British Embassy Events team for allowing BBF to host this event.
He also thanked Dr Sameh Aziz for speaking again for BBF, noting his sessions are always popular and the most oversubscribed of BBF’s events.
He also noted the importance of everybody prioritising their physical and mental wellbeing, especially at this time of ongoing regional unrest, and hoped that the evening’s event had given those attending both some respite from the tensions and pointers to ensuring their continued wellbeing.
Finally, he expressed appreciation to all attending and contributing to the success of the event, which featured great networking and meaningful conversations, and for the contributions of the evening’s sponsors especially highlighting the continued support and generosity of Jazeera Airways.
