Ambassador Al-Shamali assumes role as Kuwait’s non-resident envoy to Nepal

Kuwaiti Ambassador to India Mishal Al-Shamali presented his credentials on Wednesday to Nepalese President Ram Chandra Paudel, formally assuming his role as non-resident ambassador to Nepal.
According to the Kuwaiti Embassy in New Delhi, Ambassador Al-Shamali conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, reports KUNA.
He also extended their heartfelt wishes for President Paudel’s health and well-being, as well as continued progress and prosperity for Nepal.
Ambassador Al-Shamali expressed Kuwait’s appreciation for its strong ties with Nepal and emphasized the country’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral relations to fulfill the aspirations of both nations’ leaderships and peoples.
During the credential ceremony, both sides discussed the current state of bilateral relations and explored opportunities for expanding cooperation in various fields. Ambassador Al-Shamali voiced his gratitude for the confidence placed in him to represent Kuwait in Nepal.
For his part, President Paudel extended his regards to the Amir and Crown Prince of Kuwait and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing friendly relations between the two countries.
He also commended the Kuwaiti government’s care for Nepalese citizens residing in Kuwait and its efforts to improve their living conditions. The President reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to strengthening ties with Kuwait in pursuit of shared interests.
