Ahmadi Governor praises ‘Wafer’ campaign for promoting energy conservation

Sheikh Hamoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah praised the efforts of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy through its national energy and water conservation campaign, “Wafer,” highlighting its role in raising public awareness and strengthening social responsibility toward the optimal use of electricity and water resources.
The remarks came during his visit to the “Wafer” pavilion at Al Khairan Mall, where he reviewed the ministry’s latest awareness initiatives and educational programs aimed at promoting a culture of rational consumption and sustainability within the community.
During the visit, the governor was briefed on the pavilion’s interactive content, including practical guidance and awareness presentations showcasing effective daily practices for reducing electricity and water consumption.
The pavilion also introduces visitors to modern technologies and innovative solutions designed to improve energy and water efficiency and encourage environmentally responsible behavior.
Sheikh Hamoud stressed the importance of continuing such impactful initiatives that support Kuwait’s sustainable development goals and help preserve national resources for future generations.
For its part, the Ministry of Electricity confirmed that the “Wafer” pavilion will continue offering awareness activities and interactive programs targeting various segments of society, emphasizing that simple daily conservation habits can collectively make a significant impact in reducing consumption and protecting resources.
