Kuwait Amir Representative, Canada PM discuss bilateral ties
Representative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al- Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, met Tuesday with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney during the opening session of the high-level week of the 81st UN General Assembly.
The talks touched on the close relations between Kuwait and Canada and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields. The two sides agreed to work toward establishing a strategic dialogue between the two friendly countries, chaired by their respective foreign ministers, to provide an institutional and regular framework for consultation and coordination and help elevate bilateral relations to broader horizons in a manner serving the common interests of both countries and their peoples.
They also discussed key issues and topics on the UN General Assembly agenda, as well as the latest regional and international developments. – Kuna
