‘Build, Don’t Destroy’ awareness campaign kicks off

Kuwait Municipality’s Safety Department in the Hawalli Governorate has issued 34 safety warnings as part of its ongoing “Build, Don’t Destroy” awareness campaign. The campaign aims to promote compliance with regulations governing construction, demolition and restoration work, while raising awareness about proper handling and disposal of construction debris and waste.
As part of the campaign, property owners and contractors are being urged to transport rubble and construction waste to designated disposal sites rather than leaving it in squares, on roads or in other public areas. Improper disposal can affect the appearance of public spaces and obstruct movement.
The campaign forms part of Kuwait Municipality’s efforts to strengthen oversight, reduce violations and promote greater awareness of protecting the environment and public property.
