Gold jewelry valued at approximately 20,000 dinars was stolen from the home of a Kuwaiti doctor in Hawalli Governorate, prompting a police investigation and a forensic examination of the scene. The operations room of the Ministry of Interior received a report of a burglary after the doctor returned home from work and discovered that the gold she had kept in her bedroom was missing.
A team of forensic experts was dispatched to the residence to collect fingerprints and other evidence that could help identify those responsible. Detectives also began gathering information, reviewing surveillance camera footage in the area and examining the doctor’s circle of associates and employees as part of the investigation.
The doctor told investigators that most of the stolen jewelry was gold and said she had kept it as a form of savings, particularly amid the frequent increases in gold prices. She did not name or accuse any specific person, leaving investigators to determine whether anyone connected to her or the residence was involved.
