IMA Kuwait to hold annual ‘Jalsa-e-Seeratun Nabi’ on Aug 27

The Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait will hold its annual ‘Jalsa-e-Seeratun Nabi’ on Thursday, August 27, as the concluding program of its 10-day Seerah campaign. The program, being held under the patronage of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Kuwait, Foreign Relations Department, will take place immediately after Isha prayer at two venues in Kuwait, allowing families and community members in the northern and southern areas to attend.

The annual gathering will focus on the life, character and teachings of Prophet Muhammad, with particular emphasis on applying the lessons of the Seerah to contemporary family and community life.

In the North Zone, the program will be held at Masjid Adsani, behind Sheraton Hotel in Maliya, Kuwait City. Moulana Sifat Alam will speak on “Building a Better Society Through the Teachings of the Seerah,” while Moulana Umar Falahi will address “Raising the Next Generation Through the Seerah.”

In the South Zone, the program will take place at Maryam Masjid in Mahboula. Moulana Irfan Nadvi will speak on building a better society through the teachings of the Seerah, while Moulana Waleed Umri will focus on raising the next generation through its guidance.

The sessions will examine how the Seerah provides enduring guidance on justice, compassion, integrity, mutual respect and responsible conduct, while also highlighting the role of parents, educators and communities in developing strong character, faith and values among young people.

IMA said the concluding program will bring together the central message of its 10-day campaign: that the Seerah should not be viewed merely as history to be remembered, but as a model to be understood, practiced and shared.

Separate arrangements will be available for women, and dinner packets will be served to attendees.
