MoC schedules maintenance work at Shuwaikh, Surra Exchanges
The Ministry of Communications announced plans to conduct scheduled maintenance operations at a number of telephone exchanges in the coming days as part of its ongoing efforts to upgrade communication infrastructure and improve service quality for subscribers.
The ministry said maintenance work will be carried out at the Shuwaikh telephone exchange, followed by the Surra exchange on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, between midnight and 6:00 am.
It noted that some telecommunications services may experience temporary interruptions during the maintenance period and urged subscribers to consider the scheduled timings when using the services.
The ministry stressed that the maintenance works are part of its regular network improvement and modernization program aimed at strengthening service reliability, enhancing network performance and ensuring better communication services.
It also thanked citizens and residents for their understanding and cooperation while the technical teams carry out the necessary upgrades.
