Three Citizens Arrested in Drug Trafficking Case; Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Seized
As part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and apprehend dealers, the General Directorate for Drug Control has arrested three citizens for possessing narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances with the intent to traffic and consume them.
The arrests followed extensive investigations and field surveillance operations. Authorities seized approximately 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, 700 grams of hashish, 5,000 psychotropic capsules, and a precision scale from the suspects.
The accused individuals and the confiscated materials have been referred to the competent authorities for the necessary legal procedures.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing intensive security operations targeting drug traffickers and dealers, stressing that it will not tolerate any actions that threaten the nation’s security and the safety of its citizens.
