Electricity Minister inspects Az-Zour South plant
Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Sabih Al-Mukhaizeem conducted a field visit on Thursday to Az-Zour South Power and Water Distillation Plant to congratulate the on-duty personnel on the blessed Eid Al-Adha and to check on work readiness.
A ministry statement said that Al-Mukhaizeem affirmed that the ministry prioritizes continuous support for field teams and raising the readiness of operational sectors to ensure the continuity of vital services in the country.
The tour, in which he was accompanied by the Ministry’s Undersecretary Dr. Adel Al-Zamel and a number of officials, included a visit to the thermal control room to review operational mechanisms, production levels, and approved technical procedures to ensure the efficiency of electricity and water production.
Al-Mukhaizeem expressed his appreciation for the sincere efforts exerted by workers in power plants, especially during the Eid holiday, affirming that their commitment ensures the sustainable provision of services to the public with the highest levels of stability.
He praised the pivotal role of national and technical cadres in various work sites, as their dedication and high sense of responsibility represent a fundamental pillar for safeguarding water and electricity security.
