Amid the rollout of new residential cities and continued private sector development, demand for furniture across all categories is expected to rise significantly.
Mega projects such as Al-Mutlaa, South Abdullah Al-Mubarak, Sabah Al-Ahmad, New Khaitan, and West Abdullah Al-Mubarak are contributing to a steady pipeline of housing units, alongside growing activity in the hospitality and hotel sector, which remains one of the fastest-expanding industries globally, recording growth of around 7.3 percent.

Meanwhile, exports totaled around 11.33 million dinars, distributed across 2.613 million dinars in the first quarter, 2.723 million dinars in the second, 2.62 million dinars in the third, and 3.37 million dinars in the final quarter.
Local furniture companies are responding by expanding showrooms, improving after-sales services, and investing in digital sales channels, contributing to a more competitive and diversified retail landscape. In recent years, firms have increasingly focused on tailoring products to the needs of Kuwaiti consumers, offering space-efficient and multifunctional designs suited to modern apartments and emerging residential developments.
Regionally, Gulf markets remain key growth drivers for the global furniture industry, supported by large-scale real estate and tourism developments across Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, reinforcing the region’s role as a major demand hub.
