Two naval martyrs who laid down their lives in line of duty laid to rest

Kuwait on Monday bid farewell to two of its naval servicemen who were martyred while defending the homeland during the repelling of what was described as brutal Iranian aggression.
The soil of Kuwait embraced the bodies of Sergeants Walid Majeed and Abdulaziz Mohsen, members of the Kuwaiti Naval Force, in an official funeral attended by senior military leaders.
Leading the mourners were Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraian, Naval Force Commander Major General Saif Al-Hamlan, Army Spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, along with a number of army commanders and naval officers, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Lieutenant General Al-Shuraian conveyed the condolences of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, and Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali to the families of the two martyrs.
For his part, Major General Al-Hamlan said the two servicemen sacrificed their lives in defense of Kuwait, extending his deepest condolences and congratulations to their families. He revealed that two naval officers were also injured in the same incident and continue to receive medical treatment.
Al-Hamlan stressed that members of the armed forces across all units are fully trained and prepared to defend the nation, affirming that morale remains high and that personnel are stationed at their posts to repel any aggression.
