Sierra Leone Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

In observance of the celebrations marking the National Day and Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait on 25 and 26 February respectively, let me on behalf of His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, the Government and People of the Republic of Sierra Leone and on my own behalf, convey to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Government and People of the State of Kuwait, warmest felicitations, prosperity and happiness on the historic and momentous occasion. I pray for His Highness the Amir’s continued good health and wisdom.

The Republic of Sierra Leone and the State of Kuwait have enjoyed longstanding bilateral ties. I am delighted to recall that Sierra Leone was also a part of the landmark Liberation of the State of Kuwait. I would like to express my profound thanks and appreciation to the Government and the friendly people of the State of Kuwait for the enormous support that the Republic of Sierra Leone has received in her development trajectory.

It is, therefore, my fervent hope that the cordial relations between our two-sisterly countries will continue to further strengthen and deepen for the mutual benefit of our two peoples and countries.

I pray that Allah continues to bestow peace and security, love and prosperity to the State of Kuwait as well as the Muslim Ummah during this Holy Month of Ramadan.
