HH the Amir receives Bahrain Crown Prince at Bayan Palace, talks reinforce strategic Gulf partnership

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received at Bayan Palace yesterday morning, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the accompanying official delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to the country.
During the meeting, Prince Salman conveyed to His Highness the Amir the greetings and appreciation of his brother, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, along with his wishes for His Highness’s continued health and well-being, and for the State of Kuwait and its people further progress and development, reports Al-Jarida daily.
His Highness the Amir reciprocated the greetings, extending his best wishes to the King of Bahrain for lasting health and prosperity, and prayed for continued growth and advancement for Bahrain and its brotherly people under his leadership.
The talks were held in a cordial and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the deep-rooted historical relations between the two countries and peoples.
Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors in a manner that serves shared interests, in addition to reviewing issues of common concern and the latest regional and international developments.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali, Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir retired Lt. Gen. Jamal Al-Dhiyab, Undersecretary of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Mishal, and Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amiri Diwan Mazen Al-Essa.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled also received Prince Salman bin Hamad and his delegation at Bayan Palace yesterday afternoon. At the start of the meeting, His Highness conveyed his greetings to King Hamad of Bahrain.
The discussions reviewed the strong fraternal relations binding the two countries and ways to further develop cooperation at all levels in support of joint Gulf action. The meeting reflected the depth of historical ties and the spirit of understanding uniting Kuwait and Bahrain.
Present were First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan Sheikh Thamer Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jarrah Al-Jaber, and senior officials.
His Highness the Crown Prince hosted a luncheon banquet at Bayan Palace in honor of Prince Salman and the accompanying delegation.
Later in the evening, the Bahraini Crown Prince and his delegation departed Kuwait following the conclusion of the official visit. Among those bidding farewell at the airport were His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sharida Al-Moasherji, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan Sheikh Thamer Al-Jaber, and senior officials.
The visit underscores the exceptional nature of Kuwaiti–Bahraini relations, built on centuries-old historical ties, kinship between the two ruling families, and unity of destiny between the two peoples.
The political leaderships of both countries continue to align closely on regional and international issues, guided by dialogue, wisdom and moderation.
