Met Dept weather advisory: Kuwait braces for thunderstorms, high waves, fog
The Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory warning that the country will be affected by thunderstorms that may become heavy at times, accompanied by active winds.
According to the advisory, wind activity is expected to cause sea waves to rise to more than 6 feet. The department also cautioned that horizontal visibility may decrease in some areas due to fog, reports Al-Rai.
The Meteorological Department stated that the duration of the weather warning is 17 hours, covering the period in which unstable weather conditions are expected to persist.
The public has been urged to exercise caution, avoid marine activities, and follow updates from official channels.
