Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish organizes ‘Parish Festival 2025’

The Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish organized the ‘Parish Festival 2025’ – Koythulsavam – under the auspices of the parish. Fulfilling the year’s prayer theme, ‘Restore us, O God,’ and invigorating the faithful community, the event took place on Friday, November 21.
The official public meeting was inaugurated by the Suffragan Metropolitan of the Mar Thoma Church, Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos.
The proceedings commenced with a vibrant procession, which included 62 children, parish office bearers, parish executive committee members, organization office bearers, invited dignitaries, and Bishops.

The inaugural session, attended by the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Parimita Tripathi as the Chief Guest, was blessed by the Metropolitan of the Knanaya Church, Most Rev. Kuriakose Mar Severios, and the Mar Thoma Church Delhi Diocesan Episcopa, Rt. Rev. Zacharias Mar Aprem.
Several church and social leaders, including Aneesh Kunnappuzha, Trustee of the Niranam-Maranamon Diocese of the Mar Thoma Church, delivered felicitations.
Following this, the cultural program was led by popular film playback singers Ranjini Jose, Libin Scaria, Anoop Kovalam, and comedy artiste Kalabhavan Sudhi.
Performances presented by the parish members and various auxiliary organizations added color and splendor to the celebration. Various food stalls also operated from morning until evening.
The successful organization of the event was led by the Parish Vicar, Rev. Dr. Feno M. Thomas, along with the office bearers and various conveners.
