Vehicles impounded after motorists performed dangerous stunts and drifted on public roads without permits

The General Traffic Department, represented by the Security Control Department, has arrested five motorists for using their vehicles to perform dangerous stunts, reckless driving and illegal street racing on public roads without permits, endangering their lives and the safety of other road users.
The Ministry of Interior said the arrests were part of ongoing security efforts to combat serious traffic violations, protect lives and safeguard public and private property.

The operation followed the detection of incidents documented in video footage. Security Control Department personnel launched investigations and tracking operations, which led to the identification and arrest of the drivers and the seizure of their vehicles.
Traffic violations were registered against the motorists, who were referred to the Central Prison. Their vehicles were also impounded and subsequently crushed in accordance with Article 33 (repeated) of the Traffic Law.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing enforcement operations against anyone who endangers the lives of road users, stressing that the law will be applied firmly against those who put others at risk.
