MPW continues maintenance of roads in the district of Yarmouk

Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan said the ministry teams continue their on-site work in the Yarmouk area as part of ongoing efforts to upgrade and enhance infrastructure networks in residential districts.

Engineer Mohammed Al-Anzi, from the Sanitary Engineering Sector, explained the project includes renewing the sewage and rainwater networks, in addition to carrying out civil works such as installing curbstones, laying tiles, and completing all asphalt layers.

He added that the work team is currently operating in Block 3 of the Yarmouk area to lay the Type 2 asphalt layer. The project also covers the renovation of lighting poles, telephone network upgrades, and irrigation network improvements.

Al-Anzi noted that the work is progressing according to the approved schedule and under the direct supervision of ministry leadership, in line with Minister Al-Mashaan’s directives to accelerate completion and enhance services in residential neighborhoods.
