Kuwait Embassy in Germany hosts economic forum to boost bilateral investment

The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Germany hosted an economic forum in Berlin to explore new avenues for cooperation and partnership with German businesses.
The event saw the participation of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and representatives from 34 German companies across various commercial and investment sectors.
The forum, held in collaboration with the German organization NOMOV, which promotes economic ties between Germany and the Near and Middle East, was to strengthen trade and investment links between the two countries, Al-Rai daily reports.
Kuwait’s Ambassador to Germany, H.E. Reem Al-Khaled, emphasized the significance of the forum in enhancing economic collaboration and expanding trade opportunities, highlighting the strong bilateral relations between Kuwait and Germany.
Ambassador Al-Khaled also noted Kuwait’s eagerness to host German companies at the 9th Gulf-Europe Business Forum scheduled in Kuwait next November, which will provide further opportunities for joint cooperation in line with Kuwait’s Vision 2035.
During the forum, Bashayer Al-Osaimi, Head of Projects and Incentives Department at KDIPA, gave a presentation on Kuwait’s investment environment, detailing the incentives and support offered to German investors.

By fostering dialogue and collaboration, the forum reinforced Kuwait’s strategic goal of positioning itself as a regional hub for trade and investment while strengthening economic ties with European partners.
