Kuwait Amir arrives in Oman for a fraternal visit
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his accompanying delegation arrived Tuesday in the Sultanate of Oman for a fraternal visit.
His Highness was received at the airport by his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sultan of Oman, His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, His Excellency Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, His Excellency Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority, His Excellency Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, and His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Hajri.
During the meeting, friendly and cordial talks were exchanged, reflecting the depth of the solid fraternal relations between the State of Kuwait and the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, and ways to support the path of joint bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially in the field of economic cooperation, in a way that contributes to developing coordination and integration in the trade and investment fields to enhance common interests and achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples towards further progress and development, reports Al-Jarida daily.
His Highness is accompanied by a delegation including His Excellency the Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, His Excellency the Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Excellency the Director of the Office of His Highness the Amir, Lieutenant General (Ret.) Jamal Mohammed Diab, His Excellency the Deputy Chairman and CEO of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, and His Excellency the Managing Director of the Public Investment Authority Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah.
