Kuwait braces for strong dust-raising winds reaching up to 50 kilometers per hour until Thursday; such conditions are characteristic of the autumn and Safri season, during which Kuwait experiences fluctuating weather patterns, including high humidity and southerly winds -- Bader Al-Omara

The Kuwait Astronomical Society announced that the country witnessed equal day and night today, with sunrise at 5:39 a.m. and sunset at 5:39 p.m.
Society president Adel Al-Saadoun explained that the autumnal equinox brings near equality of day and night across the globe, though minor differences of several minutes occur depending on each country’s position north or south of the equator.
Meanwhile, Bader Al-Omara, a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, forecasted strong dust-raising winds reaching up to 50 kilometers per hour until Thursday.
He noted that such conditions are characteristic of the autumn and Safri season, during which Kuwait experiences fluctuating weather patterns, including high humidity and southerly winds.
He added that humidity levels are expected to drop, with dawn temperatures tomorrow ranging between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius in inland areas, and between 24 and 28 degrees in interior and coastal regions.
The maximum temperature is forecast to reach 43 degrees Celsius, before gradually declining through October.
