Minister of Public Works chairs meeting to evaluate preparations for current rainy season

Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, Dr. Noura Al-Mishaan, convened a meeting of the Rain and Floods Consequences Committee on Sunday to assess the preparations of relevant authorities for the ongoing rainy season, reported Al-Jarida Daily.

The meeting was attended by representatives and members of the committee from the concerned authorities. During the meeting, Minister Al-Mishaan addressed the responsibilities designated to each party in the event of heavy rains. She also highlighted the emergency plan that will be executed by the concerned authorities in collaboration with the joint operations room to tackle any potential challenges that may arise.
