Ministry records 114 traffic violations on Al-Subiya Road and Sheikh Jaber Bridge

The Ministry of Interior seized 22 vehicles and six motorcycles, and referred seven cases to the traffic police.

  • The Ministry of Interior said it will continue its intensive traffic campaigns to curb unsafe practices and reinforce its zero-tolerance policy toward road safety violations, strongly denouncing actions that endanger lives and property.

As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure traffic safety and deter lawbreakers, the Ministry of Interior, through the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Jahra Governorate Traffic Department, supported by the Deterrence Patrol Force and Traffic Investigations ‘Security Control’, conducted a field traffic campaign on September 26.

The campaign targeted Al-Subiya Road towards Bubiyan Island, as well as Sheikh Jaber Bridge and Doha Link, focusing on controlling reckless driving, preventing rash behavior, and dispersing gatherings, reported Al Jarida newspaper.

The campaign resulted in 114 direct violations, the impoundment of 22 vehicles and six motorcycles, and the referral of seven cases to the traffic police.

The Ministry of Interior affirmed that it will continue its intensive traffic campaigns across various roads and locations to curb unsafe practices and reinforce its zero-tolerance policy toward road safety violations, strongly denouncing actions that endanger lives and property.
