ICAI Kuwait hosts memorable send-off for Indian Ambassador and Mrs. Swaika

  • CA Rohit Agarwal, Chairperson of ICAI Kuwait Chapter, expressed deep gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Adarsh Swaika and Mrs. Vandana Swaika for their valuable contributions during their tenure in Kuwait.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC) hosted a farewell dinner in honor of His Excellency Dr. Adarsh Swaika, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, and his wife Mrs. Vandana Swaika, at Soul and Spice, Kuwait City.

The event was attended by dignitaries from the Embassy of India in Kuwait, including Shri Manas Raj Patel, First Secretary (Community Welfare & Labour), and Mrs. Ankita Patel; Mrs. Chandrakana Rathore, First Secretary (Political, Press and Information); Shri Harit Ketan Shelat, Second Secretary (Community Affairs & Associations); and Shri Davinder Punj, Second Secretary (Commerce & Consular), along with Mrs. Pooja Punj.

Advisory members, past chairpersons, executive committee members, and senior members of ICAIKC also joined, making it a distinguished and memorable gathering.

Highlights of the evening

The farewell event was moderated by CA Aditya Dhanuka, Immediate Past Chairperson, who set the tone for an engaging and memorable evening. The program began with a warm welcome address by CA Rohit Agarwal, Chairperson of ICAI Kuwait Chapter, who expressed deep gratitude to H.E. Dr. Adarsh Swaika and Mrs. Vandana Swaika for their valuable contributions during their tenure in Kuwait.

This was followed by an address from H.E. Dr. Adarsh Swaika, who conveyed his appreciation to the ICAI Kuwait community. He lauded their professional achievements, social initiatives, and their role in strengthening India–Kuwait relations. He also extended his best wishes to the Chapter for continued success in the years ahead.

CA Aditya Dhanuka then delivered a special address, presenting highlights of the year gone by. He reflected on the Chapter’s professional, social, and community-driven accomplishments and acknowledged the constant encouragement and support of the Embassy of India.

A memorable send-off

The evening concluded with a sumptuous dinner, where members and dignitaries mingled in an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie. The farewell reflected the deep respect and affection the Indian community holds for Dr. Adarsh Swaika and Mrs. Swaika, wishing them happiness and success in their future endeavors.
