Forgery, duplication prompt Kuwait to strip citizenship in select cases
The Supreme Committee for the Investigation of Kuwaiti Nationality confirmed its decision to revoke Kuwaiti citizenship in several cases, which will be referred to the Council of Ministers for final approval.

The Supreme Committee for the Investigation of Kuwaiti Nationality, chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, convened a meeting, Al Rai newspaper reported.
In a press statement, the committee confirmed its decision to revoke Kuwaiti citizenship in several cases, which will be referred to the Council of Ministers for final approval.
The cases involve the loss of citizenship certificates due to duplication, withdrawal of certificates obtained through forgery and fraudulent statements, and revocation of nationality deemed necessary in the country’s best interest.
