PAM exempts seven essential jobs from midday curfew
. . . provided prior approval is obtained
The Public Authority for Manpower announced the exemption of 7 essential jobs from the midday ban, provided that prior approval is obtained from the Labor Inspection Department.
Below is the list of exempted activities
The following essential works are exempt from the ban on working in open areas:
- Emergency maintenance work
- Repair of electricity, water, and telecommunications outages
- Operation of airports, ports, and vital facilities
- Emergency road paving and concrete works
- Emergency road maintenance affecting traffic safety
- Removal of collapses and sudden hazards
- Any other work determined by the Authority
