AMU Old Boys’ Association Kuwait organizes annual sports meet 2025

Day one featured exciting football matches and races, while day two brought together participants for badminton, carrom, and chess.

The AMU Old Boys’ Association (AMUOBA) Kuwait successfully organized its Annual Sports Meet 2025 on September 4 and 5. The two-day event was held at the Sports Academy, Abu Halifa (Elazz Playing Yard) on the first day, and at Ismash Academy on the second.

Day one featured exciting football matches and races, while day two brought together participants for badminton, carrom, and chess. Alumni and their families actively participated, with seniors cheering from the sidelines and adding to the festive spirit.

Medals, certificates, and trophies were awarded on the spot to winners and runners-up by the President, Vice President, General Secretary, EC members, and Advisory Committee members. A special rolling trophy was presented to the champion and runner-up football teams, recognizing their outstanding effort.

The event was supported by sponsors including Al Mulla Exchange, Al-Bandoukia Gen. Trad. & Cont. Co., KDD, and KITCO. Certificates of appreciation were presented to sponsor representatives by AMUOBA President, Mr. Aslam Parvez, as a gesture of thanks.

Food stalls provided refreshments including juices, water, chips, and ice cream. Khan Star Restaurant served tea, lassi, snacks, and a delicious dinner that was enjoyed by all.

The event was meticulously planned and executed under the leadership of President Mr. Aslam Parvez, with Mr. Adil Sareer serving as the main coordinator. He was supported by EC members Ms. Shazia Mansoor (GS), Mr. M. Khurshid Anwar (JS), Mr. Shahid Ali, Mr. Tauqir Ahmad, Mr. Shahnawaz Siddiqui, Mr. Masood Alam, Mr. Asim Khan, Mr. Yousuf Abdullah (OSD), Ms. Talat Fatma (Dy. OSD), and Mr. Maqsood Habib Khan, along with VP Mr. Tariq Waseem, who oversaw logistics.

AMUOBA expressed gratitude to the Advisory Committee, volunteers, referees, and photographers for their valuable contributions. President Aslam Parvez thanked all members for their active participation, which ensured the grand success of the Annual Sports Meet 2025.
