Partial closures on Arabian Gulf, Damascus streets begin for maintenance

The General Traffic Department has announced temporary lane closures on two major roads in Kuwait to facilitate ongoing maintenance work.

On the Arabian Gulf Street, the left and center lanes have been closed from the National Assembly intersection to Seif Palace Roundabout and will remain closed until September 1, reports Al-Rai daily.

On the Damascus Street, the expressway and central lanes will be closed from the Fourth Ring Road intersection toward Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road).

The closure starts today and will remain in effect until August 20.

The Traffic Department has urged motorists to use alternate routes and follow road signs to ensure smooth traffic flow.
