KFF gets nod for multi-level parking in Mubarak Al-Abdullah

The Hawalli Governorate Committee of the Municipal Council has approved the request submitted by the Kuwait Fire Force to allocate a site for a multi-story parking structure in Mubarak Al-Abdullah suburb to support infrastructure of the emergency services.

Two separate requests from the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy to allocate sites for secondary transformer stations in Salmiya, Block 4 (Stations No. 1 and No. 2), have been retained on the committee’s agenda for further consideration.

The committee also kept under review a proposal from a real estate company to change the land use of a property on Al-Othman Street in Hawalli from its current classification to commercial use.

The Environment Public Authority’s request to add a café to the Environmental Pollutants Building in Salmiya, Block 1, has been reserved for future deliberation by the committee.
