Duo found in possession of 350 narcotic pills referred to GDDC

Two people have been referred to the General Department for Drug Control following their arrest by security officers from the Capital Support Vehicles Department. The incident occurred after the officers noticed suspicious activity involving the two men inside a vehicle.
When the security officers conducting a routine inspection of the vehicle, officers found a total of 350 narcotic pills in the suspects’ possession. The nature and quantity of the narcotics raised immediate concern, prompting the officers to take swift action, reports Al-Anba daily.
The suspects were taken into custody and along with the seized narcotic capsules, were handed over to the General Department for Drug Control for further investigation and legal action.
In the meantime, the authorities are investigating to determine the source of the narcotics and whether the individuals are linked to a larger drug trafficking network.
