Al-Adwani inspects Nuwaiseeb Border, Khairan Mall, emphasizes vigilance during Eid

Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Ali Al-Adwani, was on an inspection tour that included the Nuwaiseeb border crossing and Nuwaiseeb police station, to review the readiness of security forces and monitor progress at the border points and service sites during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the visit is part of efforts to implement field security plans effectively during the holiday period.

Major General Al-Adwani was received at the Nuwaiseeb border crossing by Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Ports Security Affairs, Brigadier General Atef Ali Al-Habashi. At the police station, he was welcomed by Brigadier General Hussain Mohammed Dashti, Director General of the Ahmadi Governorate Security Directorate.

During the visit, security leaders provided Al-Adwani with a comprehensive briefing on operational procedures and mechanisms in place to manage the flow of travelers, enhance coordination, and maintain high levels of preparedness throughout the Eid period.

The tour also included a stop at Khairan Mall in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Marine District, where Major General Al-Adwani reviewed safety measures and security arrangements to protect visitors during the holiday.

He conveyed the Eid Al-Adha greetings and congratulations of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef to the Ministry personnel, commending their dedication, presence in the field, and commitment to national service during this special occasion.

Emphasizing teamwork and precision in executing security plans, Major General Al-Adwani highlighted the strategic importance of border crossings as the nation’s first line of defense. He called for continued improvements in performance, efficiency, and coordination across all security sectors.

Concluding his tour, he expressed his appreciation to all security personnel for their tireless efforts and urged them to remain steadfast in safeguarding the country and ensuring the safety of citizens and residents.
