Municipal Council recommends action against private institutes operating in residential areas

The Legal and Financial Committee of the Municipal Council has issued a recommendation to monitor all private institutes operating within private residential areas and submit a comprehensive report to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s Private Licensing Department.

According to Al-Rai daily, the recommendation, made during the committee’s meeting earlier today, aims to initiate procedures for revoking the primary licenses of institutes found to be in violation of existing laws governing commercial activities in residential zones.

As part of the directive, the Municipal Council will be provided with a detailed list of the institutes operating in these areas, along with the actions taken against them in coordination with the Ministry.
