Former officer sentenced to 15 years for attempted robbery
The Criminal Court, under Counselor Mutab Al-Ardi, sentenced a former Ministry of Interior officer to 15 years in prison with hard labor for robbery and attempting to rob a money exchange office in Fintas.
The former officer was charged with stealing a taxi, breaking into a money exchange office in Fintas, and possessing and using a weapon against an employee. He failed to complete the robbery due to malfunctioning of the weapon and fled the crime scene.
