Kuwait curbs commercial frauds, seizes 41,000 counterfeit perfume bottles
Ministry of Commerce and Industry seizes company with 41,000 imitation perfume bottles and refers it to prosecution, continuing to fight commercial fraud and protect consumer rights

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, announced that as part of its efforts to curb violations, the commercial control teams in Hawalli Governorate conducted an inspection campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Manpower Authority, and the General Fire Department.
The campaign led to the seizure of a company involved in the manufacture of large quantities of counterfeit perfumes.
The Ministry added that 41,000 counterfeit perfume bottles, falsely labeled with international brand names and sold as originals, were discovered during the operation.
Moreover, the Ministry confirmed that the necessary legal procedures have been initiated. A seizure report has been registered, and the violator has been referred to the Public Prosecution to complete the legal proceedings.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to combating commercial fraud, safeguarding consumer rights, and taking all necessary measures to ensure compliance with the law.
