Deputy Chief of Staff: ‘Kazma 9’ indicates high readiness and continuous preparation

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, stressed the importance of the ‘Kazma 9’ that is an exercise for the operations centers of the Supply and Catering Authority; in maintaining high readiness and continuous preparedness.

Major General Al-Sabah, in a statement released by the Chief of Staff after sponsoring and attending the closing ceremony of the exercise on Wednesday, explained that such training activities play a crucial role in preparing officers to address future challenges more effectively. He emphasized the importance of ongoing training and continuous development, extending his gratitude to all participants in the exercise.

The statement added that Major General Al-Sabah toured the exercise operations center, command cells, ammunition, maintenance, technical supply, and army firefighting units, where he was briefed on how each unit performed its tasks during the exercise.

During the tour, Major General Al-Sabah attentively observed a briefing from the Exercise Director, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, on the objectives achieved and the activities carried out throughout the exercise. The briefing also highlighted the significance of joint exercises between units and emphasized the need for integrated coordination among the various operations centers.

The ‘Kazma 9’ exercise is part of a series of drills conducted by the Supply and Logistics Authority, aimed at enhancing the capabilities and refining the skills of officers in operational planning and crisis management. The exercise also focused on intensive training for handling emergency situations and making timely, appropriate decisions during critical moments.
