Concerned authorities check health issues of students at amusement park

Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, Minister of Health along with, Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Acting Minister of Education, during a field visit, checked on a number of female students who suffered a health problem after visiting one of the country’s recreational parks yesterday morning.

Expressing concern, The Ministry of Health mentioned in a statement that 18 female students were admitted to Al-Sabah, Al-Farwaniya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospitals, and all of them are in a stable condition. They were kept under constant medical observation in the hospital, to ensure their health improves and their condition becomes stable.

The Ministry explained that it and the General Authority for Food and Nutrition are closely and intensively following up on the causes of the health problem that affected the 18 students.

Moreover, the specialized technical teams are working to conduct the necessary investigations for determining the cause of the students’ health problem and take appropriate measures, wherever it deemed fit.

On a caring note, The Ministry expressed speedy recovery, health and safety of all the students, stressing their constant keenness to provide the best necessary medical care to all citizens and residents.
