The K-Land entertainment project is gearing up for the 2024 season with a revamped vision encompassing new ideas, designs, and a business model. Divided into two sections, ‘Keyland’ and ‘Kyard,’ the project will be located on Blajat Beach, covering over 9,000 square meters. It is currently in the final stages of preparation ahead of its official opening in November 2024, according to Al Rai newspaper.

Kuwait’s largest soft play area

This year, the project continues to offer a new entertainment experience for families through Kuwait’s largest soft play area, covering 2,000 square meters with a detailed design that immerses children in a world of imagination and creativity. Other facilities include the largest “Zazalak” in Kuwait, featuring 24 tracks that provide various kinetic experiences for skating and climbing, along with a giant “Nattiya” of unprecedented size.

The project emphasizes the importance of encouraging motor activities while strengthening children’s connection with nature and fresh air during Kuwait’s most beautiful seasons, following the long summer months.

Abdullah Al-Omani

Abdullah Al-Omani, Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Tourism Projects Company, stated: “We are proud to launch the Keyland entertainment project. This distinguished initiative results from our successful partnerships with private sector companies, which significantly contribute to enhancing the entertainment and tourism sectors and improving the visitor experience.”

Al-Omani added: “We are excited about the launch of the 2024-2025 season, where K-Land, along with other projects in development, will represent a qualitative leap in providing innovative entertainment experiences that add unique value for Kuwaiti families and our visitors.”

Kyard”: A new and rich addition

On the shore of the Arabian Gulf, a distinctive selection of carefully curated restaurants and cafes awaits you, catering to diverse tastes and ages in a space separate from K-Land’s entertainment facilities. The design blends interior and outdoor spaces with coastal seating.

Emulating the style of Scandinavian glass houses

Keyland 2024 was designed to emulate the style of Scandinavian glass houses, enhancing the connection to nature and providing a sense of comfort for families and children visiting the project. The design also incorporates a combination of colors, shapes, and lighting that add joy and fun to the atmosphere.

Ahmed Al-Baghli

Regarding the project design, Engineer Ahmed Al-Baghli, Executive Director of Lines Decoration Contracting, stated: “The project is designed to create spaces similar to greenhouses, utilizing maximum transparency to connect the interior spaces with the exterior, enriching visitors’ experiences of enjoying the sea view.”

It is worth mentioning that Lines is a specialized design company with a rich portfolio in creating ideas that support the retail, entertainment, restaurant, and resort sectors in Kuwait and the Gulf countries.

Business model

Keyland Advanced Company, the owner and developer of the project specializing in premium entertainment experiences, has developed a new business model for the second season, introducing the “Gold Ticket.” This ticket grants children unlimited access to all facilities with just one purchase for an indefinite period.

Visitors this season can also enjoy the offerings of the restaurants and cafes without needing to buy an entrance ticket.
