Revised allowances for Kuwaiti students studying in Bahrain revealed
The revised stipends are, 1,219 BD for off-campus, 1,110 BD for on-campus, 594 BD for practical equipment, 495 BD for practical books, 247 BD for theoretical books, 247 BD for clothing, 350 BD for clinical rotations, and 77 BD for annual travel.
The Kuwaiti Cultural Office in Bahrain has announced revised financial stipends for Kuwaiti students sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education, according to Al Jarida newspaper.
Effective from October, the new financial stipends for Kuwaiti students studying in Bahrain, as outlined in Ministerial Decision No. 303 of 2024, were issued in late September.
According to a circular obtained by the newspaper, the revised amounts in Bahraini Dinars are as follows: 1,219 BD for the monthly off-campus stipend, 1,110 BD for the on-campus stipend, 594 BD for practical studies equipment, 495 BD for practical studies books, 247 BD for theoretical studies books, 247 BD for the clothing allowance, 350 BD as a clinical allowance for medical students during rotations, and an annual travel allowance of 77 BD.
