30,000 liters of adulterated car oil seized in shops in ‘Jahra’

After examining the oils in accredited government laboratories, it was confirmed that they did not meet Kuwait’s approved standards.

The Commercial Control Team from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, led by Director Faisal Al-Ansari, made a significant impact on commercial fraud in Jahra Governorate. The team successfully seized approximately 30,000 liters of car oil from three shops that did not meet Kuwaiti specifications.

In a precise operation, the team raided a warehouse and two shops. After examining the oils in accredited government laboratories, it was confirmed that they did not meet Kuwait’s approved standards. Consequently, a seizure report was prepared, the violating shops were closed, and those involved were referred to the Commercial Prosecution for legal penalties.
