Lufthansa cancels Kuwait – Frankfurt flights

As a restructuring of its operations in the Middle East, Lufthansa announced cancellation of its flights between Kuwait and Frankfurt, with the last scheduled flight between the two cities on 15 September 2024.

Lufthansa’s decision comes within the framework of its program to restructure its offers in the Middle East. This decision is in light of the lack of carrying capacity caused by the problems of aircraft delivery by aircraft manufacturers, in addition to the economic development of roads in recent years.

It added that it is reevaluating and improving its network of routes, while especially considering seasonality, profitability and lack of capacity due to delivery problems of aircraft manufacturers.
