Sheikh Fahd calls for upgrading PAM’s services, strengthening institutional performance

First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef has called for continued efforts to upgrade the authority’s services and strengthen institutional performance in line with Kuwait’s broader drive to modernise government work and improve efficiency.

During a meeting of PAM’s Board of Directors, which he chaired, Al-Yousef stressed the importance of implementing the authority’s development plans and programmes and improving services provided to citizens, employers and workers. He also underscored the need to reinforce governance and transparency in PAM’s administrative and financial operations, while continuing to improve work mechanisms and procedures.

The meeting reviewed the latest developments in PAM’s operations and its plans to strengthen institutional performance and improve the efficiency of its overall work system. Al-Yousef said continued development of PAM’s mechanisms is essential to achieving its strategic objectives, particularly its role in regulating the labour market and safeguarding the rights of all parties involved in the employment process.

The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to improve government services and align PAM’s operations with Kuwait’s wider objectives of more efficient and effective public-sector performance.
