24th National Conference honors Kuwaiti heroes behind nation’s renaissance
The dedicated efforts and contributions of Kuwaiti men have left a lasting impact on Kuwait’s progress, preserving its values and traditions while adding bright imprints to the country’s record of achievements.

The 24th National Conference honored the “From Kuwait We Start, In Kuwait We End” initiative, celebrating a group of Kuwaiti men who played key roles in the country’s renaissance. Their dedicated efforts and contributions have left a lasting impact on Kuwait’s progress, preserving its values and traditions while adding bright imprints to the nation’s record of achievements, according to Al Rai newspaper.
Youssef Al-Yassin, the Chairman of the Supreme Supervisory Committee of the conference, lawyer stated at the opening ceremony of the National Conference, at Al-Babtain Library: “In its 24th edition, the conference is a national initiative by the people of Kuwait for the people of Kuwait. We have made this initiative a message, which is: “National… the authenticity of the parents, the extension of the children.”
He added, “We strive tirelessly to continue the legacy of the National Conference. Its success and brilliance fill us with admiration and pride for our fathers, grandfathers, and our country, and we are more determined than ever to carry it forward.”
Al-Yassin continued, “Let us remain committed to national unity, for it is our weapon and stronghold against any threat to this homeland. We must overcome our differences and heal our wounds to stabilize this dear country. Preserving the Kuwaiti national identity is crucial, as it is the safeguard, after God, for this homeland.”
In turn, lawyer Kawthar Al-Ajan stated, “God has protected Kuwait many times from sedition, treachery, and their evils. With His permission, the Almighty will continue to protect it from the harm of current events, especially from the weakness of certain souls. We will not waver as long as we are under the guidance of the political leadership that has steered the ship of our homeland toward the shores of security and safety.”
She added, “Commitment to the spirit of patriotism is the bridge we cross to overcome all adversity. The homeland, as we all know, is not just the geographical space in which we live, but also our history, roots, cultural heritage, and everything that concerns humanity.” She emphasized the importance of commitment to the spirit of citizenship and true loyalty to the homeland.
She pointed out that “honoring a group of loyal national figures is an annual tradition where we express our respect and appreciation for the finest individuals in our country, across various fields.”
