“Youth Authority” offers volunteer opportunities in Ramadan centers

The Public Authority for Youth announced today, Thursday, that it will provide volunteer work opportunities for young men and women at Ramadan centers affiliated with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. These centers will be launched with the advent of the upcoming month of Ramadan and will be spread across 25 mosques in the six governorates.
The acting Deputy Director General of the Youth Sector at the Authority, Walid Al-Ansari, stated in a press release that the purpose of this voluntary work is to assist worshippers by organizing their entry and exit at the Ramadan centers during the Tarawih and Qiyam prayers, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Al-Ansari further added that the volunteers will also assist in preparing supplies for the Ramadan centers, provide support to people with special needs and the elderly during prayers, and help organize various activities and events taking place in these centers.
The Authority will provide training for young people interested in volunteering at the headquarters of the Volunteer Work Department in the Shamiya Youth Center. The registration process for volunteering will begin tomorrow, Friday, 7th February, through the Authority’s website (www.wro-kuwait.org).
Al-Ansari highlighted the Authority’s commitment to collaborating with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to offer opportunities for young people interested in volunteer work. This initiative aligns with the national strategy for volunteer work, which promotes partnerships between state institutions. He expressed optimism that this volunteer opportunity would see a higher turnout than in previous years.
Al-Ansari expressed his gratitude to the officials of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for their collaboration with the Authority for Youth in serving the community through the Ramadan centers. He encouraged young people to actively participate in this voluntary work.
