Young dreamers dazzle at FAIPS-DPS annual celebration

Fahaheel Al-Watanieh Indian Private School (FAIPS-DPS) was transformed into a realm of vibrant fantasy and aspiration on Thursday, 16th October 2025, as the students of Grade 2 staged their annual day celebration.

The event, held in the school’s expansive auditorium, was a spectacular, high-energy affair themed “Follow Your Dreams,” a fitting title that celebrated the unbridled imagination and potential of its youngest pupils. An enthusiastic turnout of parents, esteemed guests, and faculty filled the hall, united in their admiration for the dazzling performances of the young artistes.

The programme commenced with solemn grace and respect for the host nation, beginning with the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. The traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, a symbolic gesture of ushering in light and knowledge, set an auspicious tone for the festivities.

The school community was honored by the presence of two distinguished guests. The Chief Guest for the evening was Her Excellency Ms. Halima Abdille Mohamud, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to the State of Kuwait.

In her address she lauded FAIPS-DPS for its success in fostering an environment that promotes both academic rigour and artistic excellence, recognizing the school’s balanced approach to education. Gracing the occasion as the Guest of Honor was Ms. Sarah Fahd Al-Ajmi, the Technical Supervisor (Social Studies) at the Ministry of Private Education.

In his welcome address, Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, mentioned about the importance of collective spirit of the parents and teachers and emphasized on the need for collaboration over competition in all school activities.

This message resonated deeply with the audience, advocating for an environment where every child feels supported to discover their unique talents and pursue their personal “dreams.”

The core of the celebration was the cultural showcase, a mesmerizing sequence of performances that were a vibrant blend of theatrical precision, rhythmic excellence, and musical flair.

The Grade 2 students took to the stage with remarkable confidence and coordination, bringing to life a spectrum of acts that transcended mere recitals. The children’s energy was palpable, fueling a diverse program that swung from graceful, evocative dance performances to foot-tapping modern numbers.

s meticulously choreographed and executed, reflecting impressive dedication from both the students and their teachers. The thematic thread of “Follow Your Dreams” was beautifully woven into every act.

Through their movements and expressions, the young performers explored universal motifs of imagination, unity, and hope. The stage became a colorful canvas where dreams were given tangible form. The auditorium was alive with thunderous applause, a testament to the audience’s deep appreciation for the effort and artistry on display.

The elegant celebration drew to a close with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Seema Bhatnagar, the Headmistress of the Primary Department. As the lights dimmed, the auditorium echoed with the sounds of warm applause and the cheerful chatter of a community celebratory of a successful event, resounding promise of yet another year of brilliance and budding potential from the students of FAIPS-DPS.
