Women with revoked nationalities to be treated as Kuwaiti citizens

The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Tariq Al-Asfour, issued an Administrative Circular No. 9 of 2025, stating that women whose nationalities were previously revoked under Article 8 of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 regarding the Nationality Law and its amendments, will now be treated as Kuwaiti female citizens.

The circular emphasized the necessity for all sectors of the ministry to adhere to its provisions, with its implementation taking effect from the date of issuance.
